What is a 'listening bar', you may ask?
A space where music brings people together while enjoying mindful bevvies and snacks. We have been collecting records and cassettes for most of our lives, and now we get to share our love for music, cocktails and community with you! Plus we have karaoke every sunday!
CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT
Our menus change weekly. At Sam's, we want to encourage you open your mind to new things. Life is unpredictable and short. This is what enriches life- diversity and experience are what make life's adventures fresh and exciting! We want to enjoy this gift of life with you!
SAM'S is open Wednesday through Sunday at 7pm. If it's slowwe go home! Plan accordingly. Have a designated driver and come early!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Outside food is allowed! Consider ordering from all of St Johnsbury's amazing local restaurants such as SPOON THAWEE, THE BUTTERY, WHIRLIGIG, JAVIER BILL'S, ST J'S HOUSE OF PIZZA, EAST GARDEN CHINESE, and NEW CENTURY CHINESE, is completely allowed in our bar; in fact we encourage you to bring food from other businesses into Sam's to enjoy with our amazing cocktails!
We are a cocktail lounge / listening room first, and even though we offer amazing bar snacks (bagels, chips and cookies), we want to make sure folks are well fed while they responsibly enjoy our drinks and environment AND are able to support the many other great businesses of St Johnsbury.
